The name Miiza Rebel is derived from the common nickname for Dancehall and Reggae, “The Rebel’s Music”. “Miiza” which in patois is “mi is a”(meaning I am a) is a declaration saying this is the rebel’s music, I am a product of that music therefore I am a rebel.
