From Scarborough (Toronto), Ontario, Canada, Mike Cavano is a long time musician and busker. With his acoustic tied to him like an extra limb, Mike has played in front of Beer Stores and LCBOs in the GTA since he was 12 years old. His musical tastes started with a love of “Guitar Gods” like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Slash and Jimi Page, and a real appreciation for blues and alternative rock. As he developed his musical stylings, Mike began incorporating new sounds and song into his repertoire and eventually dove head first into the vibes of Sublime, Bob Marley and the greater circle of reggae genres and sub-genres.
It’s here where Mike began to develop his own sound, bringing together the raw and tenacious energy of the guitar gods with the good vibes of reggae.
